
Tulane to Visit Auburn in First Round of WNIT

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Women's Basketball will be on the road for the first round of the WNIT to face the Auburn Tigers, it was announced Monday. The Green Wave will take on the Tigers at Friday at 7 p.m. CT at Neville Arena.
The Green Wave is 11-9 all-time in the WNIT but holds a 2-7 mark on the road in the tournament. This marks the Wave's third consecutive WNIT appearance and its ninth overall.
Tulane is 2-5 all-time against Auburn including a 61-59 victory in the latest meeting between the teams in 2016 in New Orleans. The Wave and the Tigers previously met in the WNIT in 2013 with Tulane falling 52-72 at Auburn.
