
AAC Releases Women’s Basketball League Opponents for 2023-24 Season

DALLAS, Texas – The American Athletic Conference released the women's basketball league schedule pairings for the 2023-24 season.
The league expanded to 18 games from the previous years' 16 games. Every team will play five of its 13 conference opponents twice and the other eight once – four at home and four on the road. The American welcomes UAB, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Rice and UTSA into competition this season.
Tulane is scheduled to play UAB, East Carolina, Rice, SMU, Charlotte, Memphis, South Florida, Temple and Tulsa at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse for the upcoming campaign.
The team is lined up to have road games against Florida Atlantic, North Texas, UTSA, Wichita State, Charlotte, Memphis, South Florida, Temple and Tulsa.

Six AAC programs competed in postseason tournaments in the 2022-23 season. Defending American champion East Carolina and American regular season champion South Florida both competed in the NCAA Championship with the Bulls advancing to the second round. Memphis, SMU, Tulane and Wichita State all competed in the WNIT with the Tigers advancing to the Super 16.
The first conference dates will be December 29-31, 2023 and league play will run through March 6, 2024. The 2024 American Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship will expand to a 14-team tournament and be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 9-13.
The official completed Tulane women's basketball schedule will be released during the fall of 2023.
The Tulane women's basketball team returns eight players from last season's roster for the 2023-24 season including 2023 American Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team selection Kyren Whittington. The Green Wave have added two freshmen, 6'3" center Lily Beth Ba and 5'8" point guard Joy Madison-Key along with 6'2" graduate transfer forward Hannah Pratt and 5'6" graduate transfer guard Kaylah Rainey.
