Women’s Basketball’s Hannah Pratt Named As the LSWA Player of the Week

BATON ROGUE, Louisiana – Tulane's Hannah Pratt was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the organization announced on recently for all the games played from Jan. 7 – 14.
In leading the women's basketball team to a dominate 81-55 home victory over ECU on Jan. 12, Pratt tallied a career-high 26 points and seven rebounds plus a pair of blocks. Her 26 points were tied for the most by a Tulane player this season. Pratt's eight made threes were one off the school record and tied for the eighth-most ever made in a single game in AAC history. Her eight made threes were the most made by a Tulane player since the 2013 season. In the game against the Pirates, Pratt shot 9-for-17 from the field (52.9 percent) and 8-for-15 from three-point range (53.3 percent). The team's 26-point victory against ECU was the largest for the program in a league game since defeating Temple by an 80-44 score during the 2021 campaign.
Pratt has now scored in double figures in 10 games this season with this being the first time she has ever topped 20+ points in a game in her career.
On the season, Pratt is third on the club with her average of 12.3 points per game and second with her average of 5.8 rebounds a contest. She is shooting 36.3 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from three-point range. Her three-point percentage ranks her eighth in the league. Her free throw percentage is 78.3 to rank third on the squad.
She is the third Tulane Women's Basketball Player to be honored by the LSWA this season as Kyren Whittington was recognized on Dec. 11 and Marta Galic on Jan. 2.
Next, Tulane continues AAC play and returns home to take on Rice at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at Devlin Fieldhouse.
