
No. 12 Bowling Goes 3-1 On the Second Day At Stormin’ Blue and White Classic

Las Vegas, Nevada–  The No. 12 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling team went 3-1 on the second day of the Stormin' Blue and White Classic, held at South Point Las Vegas, on Tuesday. The team is placed in 10th overall with 9,365 pins following the first two days of action
Tulane started the day with a 938-896 loss to Mt. Saint Mary's. The team then defeated Adelphi by a 1048-724 margin. The third match was a bye as Merrimack pulled out of the tournament. Tulane kept momentum going with a 979-889 victory over Oklahoma Christian in the fourth game. The program then defeated Duquesne 908-841 in the fifth game.
Mia Stolakis led the program with 1,041 pins and her average of 208.2. She had individual games of 210, 267, 215, 163 and 186. By finishing in the top-10 at the tournament she earned a place on the Stormin' Blue and White Classic All-Tournament Team.
Kristen Derr placed 13th with 1032 pins and her average of 206.4. She had individual games of 189, 206, 166, 280 and 191.
Emma Fetterman earned 38th with 929 pins and her average of 185.8. She had individual games of 179, 213, 212, 171 and 154
Morgan Gitlitz finished 66th with 725 pins and her average of 182.25. She had individual games -, 192, 172, 174 and 187.
Katharina Mente took 88th with 529 pins and a 176.3 average. She had individual games of 148, -, -, 191 and 190.
Cassidy Williams earned 112 with 330 pins and her average of 165. She had individual games of -, 170, 160, -, -.
Juanelyz Solla had 170 pins in her only game
On the third and final day, teams will compete in three rounds of match play in a playoff bracket. Each of the rounds in match play will be a best-of-seven baker match. Â Tulane starts off taking on No. 9 seed Maryville on Lanes 41-42.
