
Track and Field Wraps Up Competition at the East Coast Relays on Saturday

Jacksonville, Florida – Matthew Remondet had the team's highest finish on the day to help lead the Tulane outdoor track and field team on Saturday at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Florida. The team recorded a total of eight personal bests in the final day of competition in Florida.
Remondet earned seventh in the men's javelin with his throw of 51.49m/168'11".
The women's 4x100m relay team of Beth Carroll, Robyn Larkan, Patricija Ozolina and Tolu Ajayi earned 15th with a season best time of 47.51.
Sofie Groeninger earned 11th in the women's javelin with a personal best with a 39.04m/128'01". Kara Schiek earned 13th with her 38.71m/127'00. Patricija Ozolina was 15th with a 35.77m/117'04". Payton Musso had a personal best with her 33.27m/109'02" in finishing 19th. Laura Fodor placed 24th with a 28.39m/93'01".
Mason Wong took 11th with a his 9:40.97 in the men's 3000m steeplechase.
Parker Orlowsky set a season best with his 1:54.06 in taking 12th in the men's 800m. Charles Henne was 41st in the event with his 1:58.89.
Larkan was the team's highest finisher in the women's 100m hurdles with her 14.46.
Ajayi set a personal best with a 25.24 in the women's 200m. She also was the team's top finisher in the 100m.
Alyssa Dismuke placed 13th in the women's discus with a personal best of 38.64m/126'09". Norah Bice took 14th with her 37.80m/124'00". Sofia Caruso earned 18th place with her 32.46m/106'06". Emma Simons set a personal record with her 29.42m/96'06".
Lee Harris was the team's top finisher and set a personal best in the men's 400m with his 50.86.
Alexis Esteves was the program's top finisher with a personal best 58.30 in the 400m. Alyssa Taylor also set a personal best with her 58.82 in the event.
Anna Schadel took 22nd in the 800m with her 2:15.71.
Next the program wraps up the regular season with a trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas to participate in the Arkansas Twilight on Friday, May 3.
