
Baseball Has Seven Playing Summer Ball

NEW ORLEANS – After winning the American Athletic Conference (AAC) championship and earning the league's bid to the NCAA Regionals for the second consecutive season, the Tulane baseball team is keeping busy and have seven current members of the roster playing summer ball around the country this year.
Colin Tuft is playing for the Orleans Firebirds in the Cape Cod League.

Tulane's baseball team went 36-26 during the 2024 season, rolled to the team's second straight AAC Championship and earned a post-season berth to the NCAA Regionals for the second consecutive campaign. The program defeated Nicholls 3-0 in the tournament for the first NCAA shutout since 2005 over Rice in the Super Regionals. The victory was the first for the program in the NCAA Regionals since 2016 when the team defeated Utah by a 4-1 score.
