Wave Welcomes Ninth-Ranked Tigers to City Park

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's tennis team will host ninth-ranked LSU at 2 p.m. Thursday at City Park Tennis Center in New Orleans.

The Green Wave (3-2), who has won its last three contests, blanked visiting Louisiana 4-0 on Tuesday. That came after a 7-0 win over Southern on February 4 and a 4-3 triumph against South Alabama on Friday.

LSU (7-1) was ranked ninth Wednesday's Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. Anita Sadhieva comes into the match at No. 115 nationally in singles. Cadence Brace and Kayla Cross check in at No. 71 in doubles.

The Tigers vaulted seven spots after consecutive wins over third-ranked UCLA (4-2) and fourth-ranked Oklahoma State (4-0) last week in the ITA National Indoor Championships in Urbana, Illinois.
