Tulane Finishes Sixth in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

GREENSBORO, Ga. – Tulane golf closes out the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in sixth place among 15 teams in the tournament at the National Golf Club. The Green Wave carded a three-round total on 909 (+45) to land just three strokes out of the top five.

Matilde Innocenti led the way for the Wave on the course as she finished tied for eighth overall after recording a 224 (74, 75, 75) through 54 holes of competition. She tied for sixth in the field on par 4s and par 5s averaging 4.14 strokes and 4.80 strokes, respectively, on those holes.

Next up on the leaderboard for Tulane was Gabriella Gilrowski as she landed tied for 30th overall. She closed the tournament with a 73 (+1) including five birdies in the final round on Sunday. Gilrowski finished with a three-round card of 229 (83, 73, 73) and tied for fifth in the tournament with seven total birdies.

Cristina Albertazzi and Tonka Zacharovska each finished the 54-hole tournament tied for 41st in the field with a total score of 232 (+16). Albertazzi posted rounds of 79, 77, and 76 while Zacharovska recorded rounds of 75, 81, and 76. Zacharovska also matched Gilrowski with seven total birdies to rate tied for 5th in the tournament.

Rounding out the group for Tulane was Francesca Pompa who carded a three-round score of 234 (75, 81, 78) to finish the weekend tied for 51st overall.
