
Tulane Opens Outdoor Campaign at Louisiana Classic

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane track and field team will begin its outdoor season this weekend as it competes in the Louisiana Classic hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana. The meet is scheduled to run on Friday and Saturday, March 21-22, at the Ragin' Cajuns Track Complex.
The Louisiana Classic will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday starting with women's javelin and men's discuss. The first day of competition will conclude with men's javelin and women's discus at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, athletes will compete in field and running events. The first event of the day will be the women's 5K beginning at 7:30 a.m. Field events on Saturday will start at 10 a.m. with the men's hammer, women's shot put, and women's and men's long jump.
