
Tulane Heads to the Sunshine State for the South Florida Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane track and field team travels to the Sunshine State this weekend to compete in the South Florida Invitational in Tampa, Florida. The meet will be hosted by South Florida at the USF Track & Field Stadium on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12.
SOUTH FLORIDA INVITATIONAL
Date: Friday-Saturday, April 11-12

The meet will begin with field events on Friday stating with the men's javelin at 9 a.m. CT. Track event will start at 4:05 p.m. CT on Friday with the men's 3000m steeplechase before action concludes on the first day with the men's 10,000m final at 7:20 p.m. CT.
On Saturday competition will open with the women's javelin at 9 a.m. with the remaining women's field events to follow until track events start at 4:05 p.m. CT. The women's 3000m steeplechase will be the first track event on day two with the final event of the meet, the women's 1600m relay final, beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
LAST OUTING
The Green Wave put together a solid performance at the Doc Anderson Multi & Invitational in Troy, Alabama, on April 4-5. Egbe Ndip-Agbor and Ben Lam each set top-10 program marks in their events during the meet while Presley Wolfe claimed first in pole vault for the second time during the outdoor season.
Ndip-Agbor finished second in the 100m and the 200m which she set a personal best time of 23.88 which ranked ninth all-time for Tulane. Lam also hit a personal best in the shot put at 13.86 meters which also ranked ninth in program history. Wolf cleared 3.75 meters in the pole vault to take home her second event title of the spring.
UP NEXT
The Wave will travel to the west coast for the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. The meet will be hosted by Azusa Pacific University from April 16-18.
