
Green Wave Posts Two Top-10 School Marks at Doc Anderson Multi & Invitational

TROY, Ala. – Egbe Ndip-Agbor and Ben Lam set top-10 program marks while Presley Wolfe claims first in pole vault for the second time this season to pace Tulane track & field at the Doc Anderson Multi & Invitational this weekend. The Green Wave also saw athletes set personal bests in 12 different events during the meet.
Wolfe shined in pole vault once again for the Wave as she cleared 3.75 meters to earn her second event title of the spring.
Ndip-Agbor had a strong performance in the sprints for Tulane. The Corona, California, native started her weekend finishing second and setting a personal best in the 200m crossing the finish line at 23.88 which ranks ninth all-time for the Green Wave. She followed up that performance on Saturday by finishing second in the 100m with a time of 11.45.
Two other runners also notched personal bests in the 200m on Friday. Robyn Larkan crossed with a time off 25.42 and Bryanna Fears finished with a time of 26.91. On Saturday, Fears posted another personal record in the 400m as well.
Not to be outdone Lee Harris and Alex Montoro stepped up in the men's 200m to both set personal bests. Harris finished fourth crossing the line at 21.68 while Montoro posted a time on 22.74.
In the women's heptathlon Sofie Groeninger finished second while recording a personal record 4,867 points. She landed first in the shot put and javelin, second in the high jump and long jump, and third in the 100m hurdles and 800m.
Over in the field event the Green Wave saw four athletes notch personal bests including Lam in the shot put. Lam hit 13.86 meters to finish sixth in the event and land ninth in program history. Sofia Carusso also posted a personal best in the shot put with her best throw of 10.35 meters.
Ali Saunders and Payton Musso had success in the javelin each hitting a personal record in the event. Saunderrs finished second with a throw of 39.88 meters while Musso landed seventh at 34.74 meters.
Up next, the Tulane will travel to the Sunshine State to compete in the South Florida Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12.
