
Baseball Has Three Named to 2025 AAC All-Tournament Team

CLEARWATER, FLA – Following the conclusion of the championship game of the 2025 AAC Baseball Championship, Tulane saw three players named to the league's all-tournament team in designated player Gavin Schulz, outfielder Theo Bryant IV and relief pitcher Tayler Montiel.
Schulz hit .444 in this season's tournament with eight hits in 18 at bats. He totaled three runs scored, a double, a triple, a home run, three RBIs, 14 total bases, a .778 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .421.
In his four-year career at Tulane in conference tournament play, Schulz played in 17 games, with 24 runs scored, 26 hits, three doubles, two triples, five home runs, 17 RBIs, 48 total bases, seven walks, a stolen base and a batting average of .419.
Bryant hit .462 with three runs, six hits, a double, a home run, three RBIs, 10 total bases, a .769 slugging percentage, three walks and an on-base percentage of .588 while playing and starting all four games in left field.
Montiel appeared in three of the team's four games in the 2025 tournament in relief. He went 1-0 with a save plus six strikeouts in 5.2 innings worked. He limited opponents to a .158 batting average without allowing a run.
Next, Tulane starts the team's off-season. The program is expected to potentially return six of the team's top eight hitters plus pitchers that totaled 30 of the club's 33 victories this season.
