
Conference Matchups Unveiled for Men’s Basketball

NEW ORLEANS – The American announced the men's basketball league schedule matchups for the 2025-26 season Wednesday. The conference slate will feature an 18-game format with the first day of league play beginning on Tuesday, December 30.

Each team will play six of its 12 conference opponents twice (home & away) while facing each of the other six opponents just once either at home or on the road.

Tulane will host Florida Atlantic, Memphis, North Texas, Rice, South Florida, Temple, Tulsa, UAB, and Wichita State inside the friendly confines of Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. The Green Wave finished the 2024-25 league campaign with an 8-1 record in Uptown marking the program's best home conference record since joining The American in 2014.

The Wave will also face FAU, Memphis, North Texas, South Florida, Temple, and UAB a second time making the road trip to each program. The other road matchups for Tulane this season will include stops at Charlotte, East Carolina, and UTSA.

The complete 2025-26 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. The 2026 American Men's Basketball Championship will be held at Legacy Arena at The BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.
