
Green Wave Sailing Unveils 2026 Fall Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing program announced its 2026 fall slate which will feature 16 regattas including a pair of home events. The fall campaign will also include two national championship competitions with the ICSA Singlehanded and Match Race National Championships.
The Green Wave will begin its fall competition schedule with a trip to Corpus Christi, Texas, for two regattas. Texas A&M – Corpus Christi will host the SEISA Singlehanded and Match Race Championships as well as the Lone Star Fleet Race from September 11-13.
Tulane will return home the following weekend to host the Green Wave scrimmage on Lake Pontchartrain on September 19.
On the final weekend of September, the Wave will split its team between a home regatta and competition in Annapolis, Maryland. Tulane will host the Sugar Bowl Women's Fleet Race back on Lake Pontchartrain while also sending sailors to compete in the Navy Invite on September 26-27.
The Green Wave will hit the road for the remainder of the fall campaign beginning with a pair of regattas on October 3-4. Tulane will send a women's team to race in the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship – Round One hosted by Bowdoin in Harpswell, Maine. Meanwhile, a coed crew for the Wave will compete for the Danmark Trophy hosted by the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.
Next, Tulane will deploy its coed crew to Annapolis, Maryland, for the Coed Atlantic Coast Championship – Round One hosted by Navy from October 10-11. The Wave women's team will journey to New London, Connecticut, for the Stu Nelson Trophy hosted by Connecticut College the same weekend.
From October 17-18 the Green Wave will race in the Women's ACC Final and the Captain Hurst Trophy. The Women's ACC Final will be hosted by St. Mary's College of Maryland in St. Mary's, Maryland, while the Captain Hurst Trophy will be held by Dartmouth in Enfield, New Hampshire.
The Wave will make another journey to the northeast the following weekend to compete in the Coed ACC Final and the Yale Women's Fleet Race on October 24-25. The Coed ACC Final will be hosted by Brown in Providence, Rhode Island, while the Yale Women's Fleet Race will be held in New Haven, Connecticut.
Tulane will return to Corpus Christi, Texas, from October 31 to November 1 for the SEISA Fall Championships. The Green Wave has swept the SEISA Fall Championships each of the last six seasons.
The ICSA Singlehanded and Match Race National Championships will follow in the month of November for the Wave. The singlehanded championships will be hosted by Fordham at the American Yacht Club in Rye, New York, from November 7-8. The match race championship will be held at the Balboa Yacht Club in Newport Beach, California, from November 14-15. Sailors must qualify to compete in the ICSA Singlehanded and Match Race Championships at the SEISA Singlehanded and Match Race Championships in September.
