2001: Saw action in 42 games as a sophomore, including eight starts in left field, one in right and one at designated hitter...had five multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI contests...came up with the game-winning hit with two outs in the bottom of the ninth vs. Oklahoma State (May 26) in the NCAA Regionals and at Southeastern Louisiana (April 4)...had a three-game hitting streak from April 17-25 when he hit .556 (5-for-9) with two home runs, a double, three runs scored and six RBI...tallied three hits, scored three runs and set career-highs with two home runs and four RBI at Southern Miss (April 22)...had 2-for-2 showings twice vs. Georgia State (March 2, 4)...also had two-hit performances twice vs. Siena (March 9, 11)...was perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases, marking the second straight year he did not get caught stealing.
2000: Played in 35 games as a redshirt freshman, including five starts in right field and three in center...began the year with a three-game hitting streak when he hit .333 (4-for-12) in a three-game series against San Diego State (Feb. 11-13)...had a season-high two hits against the Aztecs on Feb. 12, including his first career home run...also had a career-best three walks in the series finale vs. SDSU (Feb. 13)...was a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases on the year.
1999: Earned a spot on the team as a walk-on...redshirted in his first season with the Green Wave program.
High School: Two-year starter at Bishop England High for coach David Morro after playing first two prep seasons at Porter-Gaud High for coach Rickey Tillman, seeing time at center field and third base...helped the Bishops win the state Class AA Championship as a junior...earned All-SCISSA Conference honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior...in 1997, earned All-Region 7-AA honors after hitting .399 in the regular season, .472 in the playoffs and belting 12 home runs...helped lead his Charleston American Legion Team to the conference championship and earn a berth in the state semi-finals in 1998.
