Daisy Kovach is in her second season as an assistant athletic trainer at Tulane where she works with the baseball and women's basketball teams.In addition, Kovach works with the TU women's golf team and helps oversee the Wave's student and graduate assistant trainers.
Kovach came to Tulane from UNC-Greensboro, where she spent three years as an assistant athletic trainer. During her time there, Kovach worked as the head athletic trainer for the baseball and cross country and track and field teams for three seasons, and added duties as the men's soccer athletic trainer her final year.
Kovach, a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, earned her master's degree in exercise and sports science from UNCG. She went to Greensboro after graduating from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in May 2001 with a degree in exercise and sports science. During her time at UNC, the native of Asheboro, N.C., worked as a student assistant in the Tar Heel athletic training room.
