Josh Fellows began his first year at Tulane as the Assistant Coach for Strength and Conditioning in the fall of 2024.
He came to Tulane after two years working as the Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at Liberty University. At Liberty he was responsible for the design and implementation of all aspects of strength and conditioning for the Liberty Baseball and Track & Field (Pole Vault, Multis, High Jumps) programs. This includes movement/performance assessments, strength, power, and speed development, long term athletic development and sport science initiatives.
Prior to coming to Liberty, Fellows worked at Georgia from Feb. 2021-Nov. 2022 as a Professional Intern, working primarily with the baseball program and assisting with numerous Olympic sports. Before working at Georgia, he served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Louisville, working with numerous sports during the fall 2020 semester. Before his time at Louisville, he served as an Exercise Science Graduate Assistant at Georgia College & State University (May 2019-July 2020), working with the athletic programs and exercise science lab.
Fellows earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Georgia College & State University in May 2019. He went on to earn a master’s degree in health and human performance from Georgia College & State University in July 2020.
Fellows is a certified strength and conditioning coach by the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He is also a former collegiate baseball player at Georgia College & State University.
