2008:Played in 16 games as a junior, including eight starts behind the plate...hitting .355 (11-for-31) with a home run and eight RBI during his time at the dish, and has played perfect defense behind it with 74 putouts and five assists while throwing out a base runner...has a pair of two-hit ballgames in 2008, including a 2-for-3 showing at Nicholls State (April 2) when he homered and posted his only two-RBI contest of the year...enters the C-USA Tournament riding a five-game hitting streak dating back to April 2, during which time he is hitting .333 (6-for-18) with a home run and five RBI...missed time late in the year after suffering a knee injury.

Prior to Tulane: Two-year starter at Grayson County College for coach Dusty Hart...helped lead the Vikings to a combined 78-36 record, including a 43-13 record in 2007 when Grayson won the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference championship and advanced to the NJCAA Region V playoffs...as a freshman, hit .307 with nine doubles and 12 RBI...as a sophomore earned first-team all-conference honors after ranking third on the team in on-base percentage (.553) and finishing fourth on the club in batting average (.405) to go along with 10 doubles, a home run, 25 RBI and 30 walks...initially enrolled at Florida Atlantic, but redshirted the 2004 season before transferring to Grayson CC.

Summer Ball: Played for the Liberal BeeJays of the Jayhawk League in 2006 and the Vienna Senators of the Clark Griffith Collegiate Baseball League in 2007...in Liberal, hit .212 (11-for-52) with a pair of doubles, eight RBI, seven runs scored and five walks...with the Senators, hit .200 (12-for-60) with four doubles, six RBI, eight walks and four stolen bases.

High School: Three-year letterman at Tomball High for coach Rick Lynch...helped lead the Cougars to the state playoff all three years, including a 33-3 record as a senior when THS ranked No. 1 in the nation...earned all-district honors as a senior when he hit .320 with 32 RBI...hit .340 as a junior.
