NEW ORLEANS - Tulane welcomes Fordham, Ole Miss, and Texas-Arlington to Fogelman Arena Friday for the 11th Tulane DoubleTree Classic. Friday's matchup's pair Ole Miss and UTA at 5 p.m., with Tulane and Fordham to follow. Tulane will retire the jersey of all-time leading scorer Grace Daley at halftime.
The Green Wave (9-2) are coming off a 58-53 win at Winthrop before the holiday break. Tulane takes on a Fordham Rams team (2-8) that lost 66-42 to Delaware in its last time out.
The first game of the day features the Mississippi Rebels (9-3) and the Texas-Arlington Mavericks (4-10) in a 5 p.m. tip-off. The winners will play Saturday in the Championship game 5 p.m. Consolation game.

Tulane Honors Grace Daley with Jersey Retirement
Tulane's all-time leading scorer (2,249) and three-time All-American Grace Daley will have her jersey retired at halftime. After her 1996-2000 career at Tulane ended, she was the fifth overall pick of the WNBA Draft and has played professionally the last seven years.

The 2006 Tulane DoubleTree Classic is the 11th year of the tournament. Tulane has won eight of the previous 10.

Alendra Brown recoded her first career double-double against Winthrop, tying her career high in points with 13 and setting a new career high with 13 rebounds.

Sophomore Ashley Langford picked up Tulane's first double-double of the season with 12 points and a season-high 11 assists against Alabama.

Tulane has seen four players in double-figure scoring six times this season, all victories. Nine different Tulane players have scored 10 or more points in a game this season.
The D' Stands For...
D'Aundra Henry matched up with Miami leading scorer Amanda Jackson and held her to 14 points below her average, forcing 10 turnovers. Henry picked up six steals, a season-high seven rebounds and scored 16 points.
She's Got Some Offense, Too
D'Aundra Henry is second on the team with 11.4 PPG, recording a season-high 17-point performance against Lamar.

Tulane is 10th in the last NCAA report in steals, averaging 16.11 per game. D'Aundra Henry and Ashley Langford are tied for 36th in the NCAA with 3.0 per game. The Green Wave recorded 21 steals against Loyola, the third-most ever in a game for Tulane.
Ashley's All-America
Ashley Langford is currently ranked 24th in the NCAA in assists per game (5.7). Her free throw percentage ranks fifth in the NCAA and she is 36th in steals. Last season she earned Freshman All-American honors after leading all freshman in assists (171), fifth overall.

Senior guard Jami Montagnino scored 30 points against Rhode Island, her second career 30-point contest. She picked up FIU Classic All-Tournament honors and leads Tulane with 15.5 PPG.

Ashley Langford has hit 52-of-55 free throws (.945), for fifth in the NCAA. Jami Montagnino is 44-for-47 this season (.936), eighth in the NCAA. In school history, Langford is first all-time (.902, 138-153) with Montagnino second (.856, 185-216).
A Cornacopia of Wins: FIU Thanksgiving Classic Champs
Tulane won the FIU Thanksgiving Classic with wins over Villanova and host Florida International. D'Aundra Henry was named MVP while Jami Montagnino earned All-Tournament Team honors.
