Nov 6, 2016 | Women's Bowling
HOUSTON – No. 18 Tulane bowling finished 11th at the Track Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston State.
"I believe that this was the best result given how we bowled. There were times of greatness but overall our repeatability needs to improve drastically," said head coach Hayley Veitch. "Once we believe in ourselves and our teammates, then we will be able to perform at a higher level. This is something that will come with more experience in tournament play. I have no doubt that this young team will learn this quickly."
The Green Wave got off to a strong start on Friday, opening the tournament with three straight wins. Tulane took down Southern, Bethune-Cookman, and Lincoln Memorial before falling to No. 1 Nebraska, No. 12 Delaware State, and No. 22 Prairie View A&M.
