NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's basketball team will look to claim its first regular-season, conference series sweep of USF when the Green Wave hosts the Bulls in American Athletic Conference action on Saturday, Feb. 18. Tip-off is scheduled for at 1 p.m. at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

• Redshirt junior Cameron Reynolds ranks fifth in The American in scoring (16.2) and sixth in three-point field goals made (57).
• Sophomore Melvin Frazier is third in the league in steals per game (1.7), senior Malik Morgan is seventh in assists per game (4.1) and senior Ryan Smith is fifth in field goal percentage (.500).

THE OPPONENT
• South Florida (7-18, 1-13 AAC) enters Saturday's matchup with losses in 15 of its last 17 games with its most recent setback coming in a 68-54 defeat Wednesday night at home against 18th-ranked Cincinnati.
• The Bulls are led by junior guard Geno Thorpe, who is averaging 15.3 points and 4.9 assists per game in conference play this season, while sophomore guard Troy Holston is putting up 10.2 points per contest in league play.
• USF ranks third in The American in three-point field goal percentage (.364) and ranks sixth in steals per game (5.9)

THE SERIES
• Saturday's matchup marks the 33rd all-time meeting between the Green Wave and Bulls. Tulane leads the series, 19-13, and has won four of the last five matchups. The programs split last year's regular-season series one game apiece, as USF earned a 73-60 victory in New Orleans on Jan. 26, 2016. The Green Wave's last home win over the Bulls came in a 56-51 overtime triumph on Jan. 11, 2015.
• Kain Harris led four Tulane players in double-figures with a career-high 27 points, as the Green Wave earned its first American Athletic Conference victory of the season, 82-67, over the Bulls on Jan. 11 at the Sun Dome. Cameron Reynolds scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds, Ryan Smith shot 4-for-4 from the field to finish with 11 points and Blake Paul added 10 points, three boards and two assists off the bench. Malik Morgan dished out eight assists. Geno Thorpe led the Bulls with 16 points, while Ruben Guerrero and Luis Santos also reached double-digit scoring with 12 points apiece.
• The Green Wave finished the night shooting 26-for-55 (.473) overall, 7-for-23 (.304) beyond the arc and 23-for-29 (.793) at the foul line, while outscoring USF, 22-10, in the paint and 41-23 off the bench.

LAST TIME OUT
• Tulane led 19th-ranked SMU by 14 points at halftime and through the first 30 minutes of the game, but could not hold on in an 80-75 conference road loss Wednesday night in Dallas.
• Cameron Reynolds scored a game-high 23 points and made five three-pointers to complement eight rebounds, while Malik Morgan added a season-high 18 points, six boards, six assists and a pair of blocks. Ray Ona Embo chipped in 12 points, while Melvin Frazier led all players with a career-high seven assists.
• SMU (23-4, 13-1 AAC) placed five scorers in double-figures, led by Jarrey Foster's 19 points. Semi Ojeleye had 18 points, Ben Moore posted a double-double comprising 15 points and 13 rebounds. The Mustangs shot 18-for-32 (.563) from the field in the second half and owned a 40-22 scoring advantage in the paint.
