NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's basketball will head to Philadelphia to take on Temple in American Athletic Conference action and the first of its final two road games of the year on Saturday, Feb. 25. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. (CT) at the Liacouras Center.

TULANE QUICK NOTES
• Redshirt junior Cameron Reynolds ranks fifth in The American in scoring (16.4) and fourth in three-point field goals made (62).
• Sophomore Melvin Frazier is No. 2 in the league in steals per game (1.7), senior Malik Morgan is sixth in assists per game (4.2) and senior Ryan Smith is sixth in field goal percentage (.506).
THE OPPONENT
• Temple (14-15, 5-11 AAC) enters Saturday's contest on a three-game losing streak following a road setback at East Carolina (Feb. 15) and consecutive home defeats to Connecticut (Feb. 19) and UCF (Feb. 22). The Owls own an 8-7 record at home this season, but have lost three-straight inside their friendly confines.
• Temple ranks first in The American in three-pointers made per game (8.9) and second in free throw percentage (.719). The Owls are third in three-point field goal percentage (.358) and fifth in scoring (70.4).
• Individually, Shizz Alston, Jr. ranks third in the league in steals per game (1.7) and assist/turnover ratio (2.6), eighth in assists per game (4.0) and 12th in scoring (13.7). Obi Enechionyia stands fifth in three-pointers made per game (2.2).
THE SERIES
• Saturday's matchup marks the ninth all-time meeting between the Green Wave and Owls and the fifth as American Conference foes. Temple leads the series, 6-2, and has won each of the last five contests.
• On Jan. 31 in New Orleans, Cameron Reynolds scored 18 of his career-high 29 points in the second-half, but the Tulane men's basketball team suffered a 79-71 home defeat to Temple on Tuesday night.
• Reynolds shot 11-for-22 overall and tied for a game-high with nine rebounds, while Ryan Smith compiled 11 points, six boards and three assists. Malik Morgan added 10 points, as Sammis Reyes contributed a personal-best nine points and seven rebounds off the bench.
• Temple placed four scorers in double-figures, led by Quinton Rose's 18 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
• The Green Wave outscored Temple, 34-22, in the paint, 15-11 off turnovers and 20-13 on second chances while owning a 36-33 margin on the glass, but Temple scored 31 points off the bench to the Wave's 14.
• Tulane and Temple met four times as non-conference opponents in the early and mid-1990's, splitting those four contests two games apiece. The Jan. 20, 1996 matchup took place in the Superdome, resulting in a 67-59 Green Wave victory.
LAST TIME OUT
•Tulane missed a trio of potential game-tying three-pointers in the final eight seconds and suffered a 76-73 home defeat to East Carolina on Tuesday evening in New Orleans.
• Cameron Reynolds scored a game-high 22 points, as Melvin Frazier added 19 points and six rebounds. Malik Morgan registered his second double-double of the season with 12 points, 11 boards and seven assists. Colin Slater added nine points off the bench and Ryan Smith blocked four shots.
• Caleb White and Kentrell Barkley led four East Carolina (13-15, 5-10 AAC) scorers in double-figures with 17 points apiece, as Jeremy Sheppard added 16 points and five assists. Andre Washington posted 11 points, eight rebounds and seven blocks, as ECU shot 18-for-31 (.581) from the field and 5-for-9 (.556) beyond the arc in the second half.
