NEW ORLEANS – Tulane baseball travels to Baton Rouge to take on sixth-ranked LSU at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Alex Box Stadium.

The Green Wave enter the game at 9-15, and winners of six of their last nine games, while the Tigers are 18-7 and have won nine of their last 12 contests.

This will be the 312th meeting between Tulane and LSU. LSU leads the series, which dates back to 1893, 180-128-3. The Green Wave won both meetings last season, 7-1 in Baton Rouge, and 4-1 in New Orleans. LSU is Tulane's longest and most-played rival.
