The Green Wave's Season Ticket Holder of the Game is John Nunez. A supporter of Tulane for nearly 70 years, Nunez is a 1965 alum of Tulane University.

STARTING FIVE
1. Tulane will be playing its first home game of 2018 on Saturday following a road victory at Tulsa on Wednesday. The Green Wave defeated the Golden Hurricane 72-63 in that game.
2. Kolby Morgan scored 30 points on Wednesday for the fifth time in her career, making 10 of her 15 field-goal attempts. Morgan's 30-point total was her second highest of the season.
3. Meredith Schulte has been on a hot streak for the Green Wave, scoring in double figures in three consecutive games and five of the last seven. She also reached 300 career rebounds and 400 career points on Wednesday.
4. Tulane has won four of its last five games dating back to December 17, and the Green Wave has won three consecutive games at home.
5. Since joining the AAC for the 2014-15 season, the Green Wave holds a 30-24 record in conference play. Tulane has finished fifth in the league standings during all three of its seasons. Tulane has won the last seven games against Houston.
SERIES HISTORY – HOUSTON
• Houston and Tulane have faced off 41 times in their history dating back to 1979. The Green Wave hold a 28-13 edge in the series and have won seven in a row since 2013.
• Last year, Tulane claimed victories of 82-56 at home and 57-49 in Houston.
• The Cougars' last two wins in the series came in double overtime (2013) and overtime (2011).
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• The Cougars, based in Houston, Texas, have an impressive 13-3 record on the season and are 2-0 in American Athletic Conference action. The Cougars defeated SMU 85-75 and Wichita State 73-55 in their first two league games.
• Houston's top scorer is Jasmyne Harris, who averages 18.9 points per game. Angela Harris (13.6 ppg), Serithia Hawkins (11.4) and Dorian Branch (11.3) are also scoring in double figures.
• On the boards, Hawkins leads the way with 7.9 rebounds per game.
• The Cougars are currently on a five-game winning streak and have won 11 of their last 12 games.
TULANE IN THE AAC
Since joining the AAC for the 2014-15 season, the Green Wave holds a 30-24 record in conference play. Tulane has finished fifth in the league standings during all three of its seasons. This will be Tulane's fourth season in the league after spending the previous 19 seasons in Conference USA.
FOUR IN DOUBLE FIGURES
For the third time this season, Tulane had four players score in double figures in a game during Wednesday's win at Tulsa. Kolby Morgan (30), Kayla Manuirirangi (12), Meredith Schulte (11) and Harlyn Wyatt (11) all reached at least 10 points in the Green Wave win. Tulane also achieved this feat this season on December 5 vs. UNO and on November 29 at McNeese State.
MORGAN DROPS 30
Kolby Morgan reached 30 points for the fifth time in her Tulane career in the Green Wave's victory over Tulsa on Wednesday. Morgan went 10-15 from the field and knocked down eight free throws to reach her 30 points, her second-best point total of the season. Morgan also had a team-high nine rebounds and added three assists and three steals to her line.
ROUND NUMBER ALERT
During the first half of Tulane's win over Tulsa on Wednesday, Meredith Schulte recorded her 300th career rebound and 400th career point. Schulte is the Green Wave's third-leading active scorer and rebounder.
HOT SHOOTING
Tulane finished its win over Tulsa on Wednesday shooting 53.3 percent from the floor, making 24 of its 45 field-goal attempts. Wednesday marked the fourth time this year the team has shot at least 50 percent from the field. In those games, Tulane holds a 3-1 record.
OUTREBOUNDING = OUTSCORING
The Green Wave are now 6-0 this season when outrebounding opponents and 3-6 when the opponent grabs more rebounds. In victories, Tulane has combined for a +27 rebounding margin. In losses, the Green Wave are a combined -92.
