NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane men's basketball team will play its second-to-last home game of the season and looks to snap a season-long four-game losing streak when it hosts Memphis in American Athletic Conference action on Saturday, February 17.
Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. (CT) at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse, and the game will be televised nationally on ESPNU with streaming available on the WatchESPN app. Roy Philpott will call play-by-play action, while Tim Welsh provides color commentary.
PROMOTIONS
• GREEN OUT: Fans are encouraged to wear green attire, as limited edition green t-shirts will also be available upon entry to the arena.
• Youths 12 and under can receive $5 admission using the promo code: DUNK
• Fans can show their baseball ticket stub from Friday night's game and receive $5 admission, and can then use their basketball ticket for entry into Saturday's Tulane Baseball game at 4:30 p.m.
HISTORY LESSON
• Saturday's meeting between the Green Wave and Tigers will mark the 63rd all-time, as Memphis leads the series, 51-11, with wins in four straight matchups.
• Tulane's last victory over the Tigers came on Feb. 13, 2016 in a 94-87 overtime triumph in New Orleans.
• On January 9 in Memphis, Melvin Frazier scored a career-high 28 points, and despite scoring 58 second-half points, Tulane suffered a 96-89 road loss.
• Frazier shot 10 of 15 overall to go with a game-high five steals, but missed the final four minutes of the game with cramps. Jordan Cornish added 19 points, four rebounds and four assists with four 3-pointers made. Ray Ona Embo compiled 15 points, made four treys and led all players with six assists.
• Jeremiah Martin scored a game-high 31 points and went 15-for-15 at the free throw line to lead five Memphis players in double-figures. Mike Parks, Jr., added 16 points.
LAST TIME OUT
• Tulane scored 50 points in the second half and committed just nine turnovers, but could not hold off East Carolina in an 82-80 setback on Wednesday night.
• Cameron Reynolds led five Green Wave scorers in double-figures with 23 points, six rebounds and three assists in his sixth 20-point performance of the season, while Ray Ona Embo added 14 points. Caleb Daniels and Samir Sehic each scored 12 points off the bench, as Jordan Cornish chipped in 10 more.
• Shawn Williams led all players with 29 points on 9-for-10 shooting, including a perfect 6-for-6 beyond the 3-point arc and made all five free throw attempts. B.J. Tyson added 22 points and Isaac Fleming contributed 18 more for the Pirates (10-14, 4-9 AAC).
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
• Memphis ranks 11th out of 12 teams in the American Conference in 3-point field goal percentage (.296), 3-pointers made (5.5) and defensive rebounds per game (23.0) and last in defending the 3-point line (.377).
• The Tigers are third in offensive rebounds (12.0), fourth in blocks (4.2) and fifth in steals per game (6.2), but rank in the middle of the league in a majority of the other major statistical categories.
• Jeremiah Martin leads the conference in scoring (19.2) and steals (56), while standing fifth in minutes (35.5) and seventh in assists per game (3.9). Kyvon Davenport ranks fourth in blocks (35) and seventh in reboiunding (6.3), while Mike Parks, Jr., is fifth in field goal percentage (.544).
FRAZIER, REYNOLDS AMONG THE AMERICAN'S TOP SCORING TANDEMS
• Melvin Frazier (15.9 PPG) and Cameron Reynolds (15.9 PPG) rank as the No. 3 scoring duo in the American Athletic Conference this season. Frazier ranks fifth among all players in the league, while Reynolds is sixth:

MAN OF STEALS
• Melvin Frazier ranks second in the American Athletic Conference in steals (53) and steals per game (2.2), and has at least three heists in 11 contests this season.
• As a sophomore, Frazier finished the 2016-17 regular season No. 1 in the American Athletic Conference in steals per game (1.9), while his 55 takeaways ranked second overall.
FRAZIER, SEHIC AAC'S 1-2 FG PERCENTANGE UNIT
• Melvin Frazier and Samir Sehic own the No. 1 and No. 2 field goal percentages among all players in the American Athletic Conference this season.
• Frazier is shooting 58.1 percent from the floor, while Sehic is at 57.1 percent coming off the bench
FIVE AVERAGING DOUBLE-DIGIT POINTS
• As of February 15, Tulane is one of just 24 teams in NCAA Division I men's basketball, and one of just two in the American Athletic Conference, with at least five active players averaging double-digit points per game.
• Melvin Frazier (15.9), Cameron Reynolds (15.9), Samir Sehic (10.6), Jordan Cornish (10.0) and Ray Ona Embo (10.1) are responsible for 83.9 percent of the Green Wave's scoring.
• SMU is the only other team in the conference with at least five, and in fact, is one of just three teams nationally along with Villanova and Gonzaga with six players averaging at least 10 points per game..
MARDI GRAS UNIFORMS
• The Green Wave wore Mardi Gras uniforms to celebrate Carnival season for the first time in program history for four games ahead of Fat Tuesday, beginning Jan. 31 at ECU and ending Feb. 11 at Houston.
• Tulane auctioned off 10 of the jerseys on its website over a period of seven days ending February 13, as profits will be reinvested into the program and Tulane Athletics.
AAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
• Tulane has had players named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll on four occasions this season, including Samir Sehic (Nov. 13), Cameron Reynolds (Jan. 8) and Melvin Frazier twice (Jan. 15 and Jan. 22).
