NEW ORLEANS – Tulane baseball plays its final midweek game of the season Tuesday when it travels to face Louisiana-Lafayette at 6:30 p.m. at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field in Lafayette, La.
The game will be televised on Cox Sports TV/WatchESPN.com, and broadcast on 88.3 FM WRBH and the TuneIn Radio app. Links to live stats will be available through TulaneGreenWave.com. SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 91st meeting between Tulane and UL Lafayette. The series is tied, 45-45. The Ragin' Cajuns won 5-2 in 11 innings back on March 13 in New Orleans. The teams split two games last season, as the Green Wave won 6-4 in Lafayette, and the Ragin' Cajuns won 1-0 in New Orleans. The teams each won on their home field in a two-game split in 2016.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Grant Mathews was named the American Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week as well as a Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week after hitting four home runs and going 8-for-12 in the weekend series win over Memphis. He hit four home runs, including a program and conference record-tying three home run game on Saturday. He added a double and three walks, tallying five RBI and four runs scored in three games. He batted .667 overall (8-for-12), slugged 1.750 and put up a .733 on-base percentage to compile an astounding 2.483 OPS, recording at least two hits in each game.
