
Sailing Heads to Texas for SEISA Fall Regattas

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane sailing team is back on the road this weekend, headed to Galveston, Texas to compete in the SEISA Fall Coed Regatta on Saturday and the SEISA Fall Women's Regatta on Sunday.
The Green Wave will compete against conference opponents Loyola, Texas A&M, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas A&M Galveston, Colorado and Texas in the coed regatta and Loyola and Texas in the women's regatta, sailing seven total races in each competition.Â
Freshman Quinn Keenan is set to skipper the A Division boat in the Coed Regatta on Saturday, alongside crews Katie Cartiglia and Josie Larkin. Junior Caelan Watts will sail the skipper position in the B Divison races with crews Lydia Brown and Kit Stoll.
In Tulane's last race on the water, the team finished second of 17 teams in the Coed Showcase Finals in Newport, Rhode Island. The Green Wave won five races and totaled 21 top 10 finishes in 28 races.
