Women's Tennis Sweeps Doubleheader From Alcorn State

Christina Sisti led the Green Wave (2-0) with a 2-0 mark at No. 5 singles, earning a pair of straight-set victories, while also going 1-0 with a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles in the second match of the day. Lauren Gish, Adelaide Lavery and Lauren Gish also collected respective singles wins.
Tulane took advantage of early advantages, as Alcorn State (0-2) possessed just five players, forcing the Braves to forfeit No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles in both contests. That would not give the Wave any pause, as they finished the job with a 4-0 victory in the first match, followed by a 5-0 win in the second to complete the sweep.
Tulane returns to action next Saturday, January 25, to host Southern and Southeastern Louisiana in a home doubleheader. The matches are scheduled for noon and 3:30 p.m., respectively.
