NEW ORLEANS – Team Bob scored early and often in the fifth and final game of 2020 Fall Ball World Series, as it defeated Team Blob 4-1 Sunday afternoon at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

Burns had three hits, including a double, as he hit out of the leadoff position. Howell collected a pair of hits, including a home run, as he hit out of the fifth position. Howell’s home run was just the second home run of the series.
Team Bob finished the game with 10 hits and scattered just six hits to Team Blob.
Redshirt junior Donovan Benoit started the game for Team Bob and picked up the win after he worked 3.0 innings and allowed just two hits and did not allow an earned run.
Freshman Blake Mahmood, redshirt sophomore Kennedy Norton, freshman Turner Thompson, graduate student Robert Price and graduate student Trent Johnson would come on in relief of Benoit, as they combined to hold Team Blob to just four hits for the remainder of the game and no runs.
