NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane women's tennis team returns home to host a pair of highly-ranked opponents this weekend, beginning with American Athletic Conference foe and No. 25 UCF on Saturday, February 29 at noon at the City Park Tennis Center.

Freshman Mackenzie Clark climbed two spots in the ITA's national singles rankings, coming in at No. 101 in the newest rankings released on February 19.
SCOUTING UCF
The Knights (6-3) face Old Dominion on Friday but begin the weekend after having a four-match winning streak snapped against No. 28 Ole Miss at home in a 4-3 decision last Friday. UCF possesses three ranked singles players, including No. 41 Rebeka Stolmar, No. 64 Valeriya Zeleva and No. 70 Marie Mattel. In doubles, Stolmar and Mattel comprise the nation's No. 7 ranked tandem, while Zeleva and Ksenia Kuznetsova are listed at No. 29.

The Monarchs possess two ranked singles players in No. 36 Holly Hutchinson and No. 105 Yulia Starodubsteva, while Starodubsteva and Alesya Yakubovich combine at the nation's No. 10 doubles team.

Tulane owns a (6-0) record when winning the doubles point this season but has not recorded a victory without at least two doubles wins.
LAST TIME OUT
The Green Wave are coming off a 4-2 setback against UT-Arlington last Sunday in a neutral-site match in Wichita, Kansas. Freshmen Mackenzie Clark and Lahari Yelamanchili scored straight-set singles wins on courts one and three, respectively, to score Tulane's team points.

Tulane junior Lauren Gish and freshmen Mackenzie Clark and Lahari Yelamanchili have all secured singles wins over ranked opponents in their first season with the Green Wave.
