Women's Tennis Drops First Match of 2021 at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Tulane women's tennis team suffered its first defeat of the 2021 season, 7-0, at LSU on Wednesday evening at the LSU Tennis Complex.
The Green Wave (4-1) fell behind early in doubles after the Tigers (3-0) took a commanding lead on all three courts. The home team held those advantages and closed out all three courts to take a 1-0 lead into singles.
LSU remained in control in singles, winning in straight sets on all six courts.
Up next, Tulane returns home to host UL Lafayette on Saturday, February 6 at 2 p.m., at the City Park Tennis Center.
