
Lee Named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University freshman catcher Bennett Lee was selected as the American Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week and junior left-handed pitcher Jack Aldrich was tabbed to the league's weekly honor roll on Monday following the Green Wave's three-game sweep against Wichita State this past weekend.

Lee was selected Player of the Week after he collected six hits over the three-game series with the Shockers. The Tampa, Florida native hit .600 for the week, going 6-for-10 with three runs scored and three RBI. Lee saved his best effort for last, as he collected three hits in the series finale on Sunday.

Aldrich earned a spot on the honor roll after he picked up the win in game two of the Green Wave's 3-2 victory over Wichita State on Friday. The California native worked 6.0 innings and struck out six.

Tulane travels to Memphis this weekend for a four-game series. The four-game set begins on Friday at 1 p.m.
