
Sailing Gets Back on the Water in Boston

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing team will continue the season at the Boston College Team Race on Friday, April 2.
"We are looking forward to competing against some great teams this weekend," Tulane head coach Charles Higgins said. "The team has been progressing well all season and getting noticeably stronger each week."

The Green Wave will be competing against Boston College, US Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut College, Roger Williams and Stanford.

Tulane will have junior Ciara Rodriguez-Horan, sophomores Cameron Giblin and Quinn Keenan and freshmen Marcus Huttunen and Thad Lettsome as the skippers for the weekend. Sophomores Lydia Brown and Kit Stoll and freshmen Gillian Perrell and Andrea Riefkohl-Gonzalez will serve as the crews.

"This is another great opportunity to see where we stand against some of the nation's best," Higgins said.

The regatta will begin at 12 p.m. on Friday.
