
Tulane Finishes 16th in Open Atlantic Coast Finals

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Tulane University Sailing competed against a stacked field to finish 16th out of 18 teams in the Open Atlantic Coast Championships hosted by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut on Sunday.
The Green Wave finished with a total score of 337 through 14 races in both divisions. The A Division team of Cameron Giblin and Andrea Riefkohl-Gonzalez paced the Wave with a total of 166 to land 15th in the division. Tulane's B Division team featuring Ciara Rodriguez-Horan, Asher Zittrer and Gillian Perrell also finished 15th in the division ending with a total of 171.
Up next, the Green Wave will travel to Austin, Texas, to race in the SEISA Open and Women's Fleet Race Championships October 29-30. Tulane won both the Open and Women's SEISA Fall Championships in 2021.
