
Men's Basketball Looks to Stay Undefeated at Home on Saturday Versus Fordham

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men's basketball hosts Fordham at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.Â

1.Tulane University men's basketball has won each of their four home games so far this season. Â
2. The two teams have faced each other twice, Tulane has won both matchups on 11/17/99 (80-69) and on 11/19/17 (63-55).
3. Sophomore Jalen Cook returned after missing three games. Cook scored 14, dished out a career high eight assists and grabbed two steals. Cook was also named to the AAC weekly honor roll in the second week of the season.Â
4. Jaylen Forbes had a season high 26 points in Monday's game versus ULM. Shooting 57.1% from the field (8-14) and 50.5% from beyond the arc (6-12). Forbes has scored 20+ in three games so far this season.Â

• Tulane will get its fifth home win of the year. The Green Wave had nine total home wins last season.

• The Rams only loss of the year was to #11 Arkansas, 74-48.
• The loss to Arkansas was also the teams only game on the road so far this season.

• Khalid Moore had 16-points and ten rebounds for his first career double-double. Abdou Tsimbila also had his second straight, with ten points and eleven rebounds in the win versus Maine.
• Abdou Tsimbila is averaging 10.0 ppg and 12.7 rpg over the past three games.
• Darius Quisenberry has scored in double figures in all eight games this year.

LAST TIME OUT - FORBES SPARKS OFFENSE IN VICTORY OVER ULM
• Forbes went 8-14 at .571 from the field and an even .500 going 6-12 from beyond the arc. He also tagged on seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.
• Three other members of the Green Wave scored in double figures with Jalen Cook dropping 14 points and dishing out eight assists. Sion James and Kevin Cross both had 12 points on the night. Cross also added on nine rebounds while James had five.
• The Green Wave got off to a slow start, down 8-17 eight minutes into the first half. A trio of three pointers would spark the beginning a 14-0 run for Tulane, taking the lead 22-17
• Tulane drew first blood in the second half with a deep three from James. They led by 16 before ULM made a run that cut the lead to five – the closest margin of the half - with just over eight minutes to play.
• The Green Wave answered by extending their lead once and for all, scoring 17 points while a scrappy defense held ULM to eight thanks to junior Cross, who spear-headed the defense with seven defensive rebounds in the Tulane victory.
