Update on Rick Jones Number Retirement

In 2020, Tulane Athletics announced the retirement of Rick Jones' Number 10. As a result of the COVID pandemic ending the 2020 season as well as restricting attendance during the 2021 season, the retirement ceremony has not yet occurred.Â
Due to continuing limitations of COVID-19, Tulane Athletics and Coach Jones would like to announce that the retirement ceremony for Number 10 will be delayed until the 2023 season. We look forward to honoring Coach and retiring his number next season with him in attendance in Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. A date and game will be announced leading into the 2023 season. We thank everyone for their understanding and patience.
