NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University baseball team (30-19-1; 10-8) is heading to Wichita State University (16-32;5-13) for the final road conference series of the season inside Eck Stadium.

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University baseball team (30-19-1; 10-8) is heading to Wichita State University (16-32;5-13) for the final road conference series of the season inside Eck Stadium.

THE MATCHUP
- First pitches are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
- The matchup can be viewed on ESPN+ and heard on WRBH 88.3 FM.
- Tulane leads the all-time series 13-7.
- The last time these two sides met was in the 2021 AAC Tournament where the Wave won 12-2.
HIGHLIGHTING THE WAVE
- The Wave is hitting .274 as a club and the pitching staff has a 4.68 ERA.
- The Green Wave has a 11-9 record on the road.
- Tulane is fourth in the AAC, with series wins against Memphis, USF, and ECU.
- The Wave has scored the most runs of any team in the conference with 341.
- The second-highest average in the AAC belongs to freshman outfielder Jackson Linn at .370. Linn has six home runs, seven doubles, and 29 RBI on the year.
- Freshman Grant Siegel (7-1) has a 2.38 ERA in 56.2 innings of work, the 36th lowest mark in the nation. Siegel has 50 strikeouts and has allowed just 11 walks.
SCOUTING THE SHOCKERS
- Wichita State is tied with Memphis at the bottom of the AAC and is coming off a series defeat vs. Houston last weekend.
- The Shockers hit .256 as a team and the pitching staff has a 5.95 ERA.
- Sophomore Cameron Bye (4-1) has a 2.53 ERA in 57.0 innings pitched. The righty has 54 strikeouts and has allowed just 40 hits.
- Sophomore infielder Brock Rodden is hitting .324 and has 14 home runs, the second most by a hitter in the AAC.
- Sophomore Chuck Ingram leads the Shockers in RBI with 46 and has 13 home runs, the third most in the AAC.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Wave took down the University of South Alabama on Tuesday night 11-7.
- Tulane weathered a furious six-run comeback by the Jaguars and scored four in the eighth to secure the win.
- Eight of Tulane's starters recorded at least one hit and one RBI.
