
Tulane Hosts Wichita State in Sunday Afternoon Matchup

1. Tulane University men's basketball sees Wichita State for the second time this season after the Wave won in Wichita earlier this season in a 95-90 overtime thriller.
2. Jalen Cook notched his seventh straight game scoring 20+ points versus Houston on Wednesday. The sophomore is currently averaging 20.3 points per game and has only scored below double figures twice this season (Memphis and Temple).
3. Sion James (37.6), Jaylen Forbes (36.2), and Jalen Cook (33.9) are one, two and six in the conference in minutes per game in the AAC. James has led the conference for the entirety of the season and in the top 10 in the country.
4. Tulane continues to have the highest scoring offense in the AAC averaging 81.4 ppg on the season.
5. Tulane is fourth in the country in free throw percentage shooting 79.3 percent from the charity stripe. Jalen Cook leads the team and second in the AAC shooting .895 percent.

500 - With a 17-8 record and five games left to play (counting first round of AAC tournament) this is the first time Ron Hunter will finish over .500 as the Tulane head coach. Tulane hasn't finished .500 or better since 2013-14 (17-17).

• The Shockers fell to Memphis Thursday night, 83-78, in a game that featured 16 lead changes. James Rojas matched his career-high with 19 points. Porter had five
of WSU's 12 steals to go with seven assists.
• Jaykwon Walton is the Shockers' leading scorer at 14.4 points. Since his Jan. 14 return from an ankle injury the junior has posted 11 straight double-figure scoring games. He's made at least half of his field goal attempts in every one of them (65/108, .602).
• The Shockers have been better on the road (6-3, 5-2 AAC) than at home (7-8, 2-6). They've won four straight in enemy territory – the last three by double-figures.
• WSU has not had a win streak of more than two games this season.

A WIN VERSUS WICHITA STATE
• Tulane would get its 11th home win of the season, it's most in the Ron Hunter era.
• Tulane would sweep Wichita State for the second straight season.
• Tulane would improve to 18 wins on the year, the most since 2012-13 when the team went 20-15.
