THE MATCHUPS
The Green Wave will take on the Jaguars from Southern Alabama Tuesday and the Privateers of New Orleans on Wednesday. Both contests will be held at Greer Field inside Turchin Stadium and will start at 6 p.m.

Tulane posts a 24-27 all-time record with South Alabama. The two teams faced off twice in the 2022, campaign each taking a game on their home turf.

The Green Wave and Privateers will enter another round of the Pelican Cup, a three-game mid-week series with UNO. Tulane looks to hold the Pelican Cup after taking two out of the three games in 2022. The competition between the cross-town rivals has dated back to the 1971 season. In over 50 years of play Tulane leads the all-time series at 84-69.

LAST TIME OUT
Tulane went 1-2 in a series with St. John's over the weekend. LHP Dylan Carmouche was back to his vibrant style of play on Friday. He went six innings, giving up two runs on four hits with eight strikeouts.
The offense was led by first baseman Brady Marget, who hit .545 on six hits with two extra-base hits and two RBI.
