Inclement Weather Halts Wave-ECU Series Opener

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Tulane's baseball team got off to a good start Friday evening in its series opener at #12 East Carolina on Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.

The game was stopped in the top of the seventh inning with the Green Wave batting with two on and no outs as it holds a 9-6 lead.

The game will resume at 2:30 p.m. ET/1:30 CT on Saturday with Tulane shortstop Gavin Schulz facing ECU relief pitcher Landon Ginn. Right fielder Jacob LaPrairie and catcher Brennan Lambert will be on second and third base, respectively.

This will be the second schedule change of the series. Following the conclusion of this game, the two teams will now play a Saturday doubleheader to complete the series. The earlier change was made due to inclement weather in the Greenville forecast for Sunday.
