
Green Wave Set to Kick Off Regular Season Against Nicholls on Thursday

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane University women's basketball will kick off its 2024-25 regular season on Thursday, Nov. 7, as they host Nicholls at the Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.Â
Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and can be streamed live on ESPN+. Fans can also tune in to live radio coverage on the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield on WBRH 88.3, available through the Tulane Athletics App and The Varsity Network App, with Paul Boron on the call.
This will be the 46th all-time regular season meeting between Tulane and Nicholls, with the Green Wave leading the series 32-13. The last matchup between the two teams took place on Nov. 8, 2023, in Uptown, where Tulane was defeated 69-66.
Nicholls is coming off a 53-51 loss to LA Tech on November 4. The Colonels enter the 2024-25 season following a 14-18 overall record last year.
Thursday night's game will mark Ashley Langford's debut as head coach of the Tulane women's basketball team. So far, Coach Langford has led the Wave to a 104-57 victory in their exhibition game against Loyola last weekend.
Following Thursday's matchup, Tulane will hit the road to face Missouri on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 5:00 p.m. CT, streamed on the SEC Network.
