Bowling Finalizes Flyer Classic

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Tulane Bowling finished out its time at the Flyer Classic today, finishing in 13th place. The Wave went 1-2 during its last day of competition to finish the tournament with eight wins and five losses.
Tulane first took on Wright State today, who defeated the Wave in a tie-breaker 75-63. Tulane won games one (209-199), four (189-180), and five (197-191), while Wright State took two (189-181), six (174-156), and seven (226-214). The teams tied the third 234-234, resulting in a tie-breaker won by Wright State.
Tulane then played the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, who won 5-1. The Wave won game three 160-158 and tied the second 189-189. UWW took one (180-163), four (191-158), five (216-190), and six (247-221).
The Wave finished out the tournament with a win over Valparaiso. Tulane clinched a dominant win after claiming games one (188-169), three (236-204), four (227-148), and five (227-148), with Valparaiso taking game two 200-197.
The Green Wave will return to competition for the Bulldog Classic hosted by Louisiana Tech from Feb. 28 - March 2.
