Bowling Finishes Regular Season Play

FORT WORTH – Tulane Bowling wrapped its regular season play today at the Bulldog Classic, finishing the tournament with 7 wins and six losses. The Wave placed sixth overall in the tournament following today's win over Prairie View.
Tulane started the day out against Oklahoma Christian, who beat the Wave in a tight, seven game match 3-4. Tulane began with a win of 180-172 and picked up games three (178-133) and five (212-151). The Eagles triumphed after taking games two (191-180), four (175-161), six (168-151), and five (178-165).
Alabama State took the win in the second game of the day, beating the Wave 4-2. Tulane clinched games two (177-156) and four (163-138), but fell after the Lady Hornets won games one (190-135), three (206-165), five (201-191), and six (176-173).
Tulane closed out the season with a win over Prairie View 4-1. Prairie View nabbed game three 185-150, but Tulane dominated the rest with final scores of 200-182, 181-148, 225-172, and 207-153.
The Wave totaled 12,165 pins over the tournament, averaging 178.9 pins per match. Sam Houston State University took the tournament title.
