2022 (Sophomore): Saw action in 46 games making 44 starts... Finished the year with a .249 average and 32 RBI... His 14 doubles ranked second on the team... Scored 29 runs on the year... Opened the year on a high note, as he hit .444 opening weekend vs UMass Lowell (2/18-2/20)… Went three for four with two RBI in Tulane’s opening game against League champion ECU (4/22)... Grabbed his first home run of the year in this first road game of 2022 at Nicholls (2/23)… Drove in five against Texas Southern (3/1)… Collected two two-double games in Texas Southern (3/2) and Villanova (3/19)… Collected three three-RBI games Nicholls (2/23), Southeastern (3/1), and Memphis (4/3)…Picked up his only triple of the year against ECU (4/22)… After suffering an injury in game two of the Cincinnati he was sidelined for the reminder of the season.
2021 (Freshman): Established himself as one of the top players on the Green Wave roster during his rookie season... Tabbed as a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American... Started in all 53 games he played in during the year... Finished the year by leading the team in home runs (9) and RBI (52)... His .299 batting average ranked second on the team... He was one of six players that finished the year with a slugging percentage over .400... Drove in four RBI at Memphis (4/23), vs. Houston (4/30), at Cincinnati (5/22) and against Wichita State (5/28)... Made an immediate impact for the Green Wave as he went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one home run and three RBI in his collegiate debut against Louisiana-Lafayette (2/20)... Drove in a pair of runs, had one double and one home run at eventual National Champion Mississippi State (2/27)... Helped propel Tulane to a series win over Houston (4/30 - 5/1) after drove in eight RBI during the four-game series... Closed out the regular season on a high note, as he collected a season-high five RBI at Cincinnati (5/22).
Prior to Tulane: Comes to Tulane after earning four letters on the varsity baseball team at Riverwood High School…He also earned two varsity letters in football…Was named to the 2019 All-Region baseball team...Played summer/travel ball for the East Cobb Yankees, and for 643 DP Athletics…Selected as a Perfect Game Preseason All-American from 2017-20…Earned All-Tournament team honors from Perfect Game a total of 12 times throughout his showcase career…Was tabbed as a Perfect Game Junior National Top Prospect in 2018…Also earned All-Region honors in football following his freshman season…Became the first freshman football player to start opening day since 1990…Off the playing field, Engelhard was a honors student involved with men’s choir, Beta Club, and Jewish Student Union…He volunteered for many years with Christopher League baseball for differently abled players and Jocks for Socks philanthropy.
