NEW ORLEANS - The (-/RV) Tulane women's basketball team (13-7, 4-3) heads to Cincinnati (14-6, 5-2) on Saturday for its fifth road contest in eight conference games. The Green Wave tip-off against the Bearcats at 1:05 p.m. CT, streaming live on the American Digital Network.Â
LAST TIME OUT
• Vorpahl (21 pts) & Morgan (20 pts) combined for 41 points to power the Green Wave to a 70-65 win over the visiting Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
• Up just 49-44 to start the fourth quarter, Tulane recorded an 11-0 run to garner its largest lead of the game at 60-44.
• Harding supplied eight points off the bench in a career high 23 minutes of play. Harding also tied her career high in steals (3) and season high in assists (3).
SERIES HISTORY - CINCINNATI
• Saturday marks the 29th all-time meeting between the two programs. Cincinnati leads the series, 15-13.
• Marks just the third time competing in The American together. Wave won 60-50 in Cincy on Dec. 28, 2014, then emerged with the 70-51 victory at home on Feb. 29, 2016.

• Morgan has averaged 16.0 ppg and 5.5 rpg against the Bearcats, while Vorpahl has averaged 14.0 ppg and 5.0 apg.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
• Cincinnati enters with a 14-6 overall record and 5-2 mark in AAC play. Bearcats opened American play with a loss at SMU, but bounced back with five straight wins before dropping a 64-44 loss at UCF this past Tuesday.
• Bearcats rank 63rd in the nation in scoring defense, limiting its opposition to 59.3 ppg.
• Shanice Johnson leads the way with her 15.5 ppg and 9.6 rpg. The junior forward ranks 27th nationally with nine double-doubles this season. Johnson also ranks 44th in the country in rebounds per game and 22nd in steals per game (3.00)
• Cincy is also powered by Ana Owens and Bianca Quisenberry who each average double figures at 12.7 and 10.7 ppg, respectively. Quisenberry ranks 34th in the nation in free-throw percentage (.864).
MORGAN'S HOT STREAK
Morgan has produced a career high streak of five straight games of 20+ points, averaging 21.6 points on 43.3 percent shooting in that span. The junior is now up to 12 total 20+ performances this season after producing 13 total last season.
In addition, Morgan has achieved 13 straight games with double-digit points, tying her career high streak set last season. The streak started just two days after being held scoreless for the first time of her career at Middle Tennessee - Morgan then erupted for a career high 34 points on a career best 14 made field goals at Vanderbilt on Dec. 5.
AMERICAN GIRL
New Year, New Me, for Vorpahl, whose shooting has heated up since the start of conference play back on Dec. 31. Since then, the senior has raised her field goal percentage from 40.0 percent to 46.4 percent, and her three-point percentage from 26.9 percent to 37.6 percent.
In league play only, Vorpahl is shooting a prolific 50.0 percent from three (15-of-30), which ranks first in The American. Vorpahl is also shooting 52.2 percent from the floor, which ranks 7th.
The senior has certainly been putting her stamp on conference play, ranking in the top-15 in seven different categories: 7th in FG% (.522), 4th in assists (5.6), 5th in 3PT FG (2.1), 1st in 3PT FG% (.500), 8th in A/TO ratio (1.2), 14th in D-Reb. (3.9) and 11th in minutes (34.1).
RAIDERS OF THE ARC
In AAC play only, Tulane is shooting 32.8 percent from beyond the arc, while holding its opposition to just 28.9 percent -- both rank second amongst conference teams.
The Green Wave have connected on at least seven made three-pointers in seven of their past 11 games, including a season high of 10 vs N.C. State.
Individually, Vorpahl has provided a spark from deep, recording four three-pointers twice in the past four games.
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME CHARTS
Morgan, who became the first player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points in her first two seasons, now sits at 1,374 career points, which ranks 8th all-time. Up next: No. 7 Olivia Grayson (2009-13) - 1,442 points
