
Sailing Back on the Road, Competing in Yale Women's Regatta

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane sailing team prepares to head back to New England this weekend, hitting the water in New London, Connecticut to compete in the Yale Women's Regatta on Saturday and Sunday.
The Green Wave is set to match up against 13 competitive opponents in the inter-conference competition, including: Boston University, Brown, Charleston, Connecticut College, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Coast Guard, Miami, Rhode Island, Vermont and host, Yale.
Tulane will send two teams to compete in the respective A and B Division races, sailing 14 fleet-style races in the two-day regatta.
The team earned a No. 17 finish in the Women's Showcase Finals last weekend, sailing on the Charles River in Boston. The Green Wave have continued to improve over the course of their inaugural varsity season and look forward to hosting two simultaneous regattas at home next weekend in the Baldwin Wood and Tulane Women's Regattas on Lake Pontchartrain.
