NEW ORLEANS – Tulane baseball concludes its six-game homestand this week with a midweek pair against Louisiana-Lafayette and Southern Miss at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Tulane plays ULL at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Cox Sports Television and faces Southern Miss at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Tuesday's game will be televised by Cox Sports Television. The games will be broadcast on 88.3 FM WRBH and the TuneIn Radio app. Live video of Wednesday and live stats for both games will also be available through TulaneGreenWave.com.Â

SERIES HISTORY
   This will be the 90th meeting between Tulane and UL Lafayette. Tulane leads the series, 45-44. The teams split two games last season, as the Green Wave won 6-4 in Lafayette, and the Ragin' Cajuns won 1-0 in New Orleans. The teams each won on their home field in a two-game split in 2016.
     This will be the 158th meeting between Tulane and Southern Miss. Tulane leads the series, 96-60-1. The teams each won on their home field in 2017, as the Green Wave won 10-8 in New Orleans and the Golden Eagles won 2-1 in Hattiesburg. The Green Wave won twice in 2016, including a 12-7 victory in Hattiesburg on March 22. The Golden Eagles won both meetings in 2015. The schools have met twice each of the last three years, continuing a long-standing rivalry that includes co-membership in Conference USA from 1996-2014 and the Metro Conference from 1990-95.

• Johnson and Witherspoon have four stolen bases apiece, and Artigues, Gozzo and Hoese each have three steals this season. The Green Wave are 19-for-22 in stolen bases.
• Tulane has a .982 fielding percentage this season. Of the 11 errors, six were committed by pitchers and one was by a catcher trying to catch a runner stealing second.
• Tulane has 52 extra base hits among its 152 hits this season, including 41 doubles. Tulane ranks 8th in the NCAA in doubles.
• The Green Wave have turned 15 double plays in 16 games this season.
• Seven position players and nine pitchers have seen their first action at Tulane in the first seven games of the season, and five of those position players have started a game.

AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONORS
   Junior Kaleb Roper was named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on March 12. He pitched 8.0 shutout innings with eight strikeouts and allowed just two hits and two walks to win a 1-0 pitcher's duel.
     Sophomore shortstop Sal Gozzo was listed on the Weekly Honor Roll on Feb. 19 after hitting .444 opening weekend vs. Wright State, and sophomore pitcher Keagan Gillies was named to the Honor Roll on March 5 after striking out five and allowing one hit in 7.0 innings vs. Cal State Fullerton.
