
Tulane Finishes Ninth at LSU Tiger Golf Classic

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Tulane University women's golf team closed out competition Sunday afternoon at the 2019 LSU Tiger Golf Classic and finished ninth with a score of 950.
Over the three-day tournament, Tulane recorded 147 pars and 20 birdies.
Junior Haydyn Gibson led the way for the Green Wave, as she tied for 18th with a three-round score of 231. Gibson carded a final round score of 81, while battling high winds and heavy rain throughout the day.
Sophomore teammate Jennifer Rosenberg was the next Green Wave finisher, as she tied for 24th with a tournament total of 232. The New York native also posted a round three tally of 81.
Senior Laura Munoz (47th, 242), junior Gabrielle Correia (tied for 50th, 246) and freshman Isabella Cardenas (tied for 53rd, 249) rounded out the Tulane lineup.
Campbell captured the team title with a score of 896. UTSA's Ana Gonzalez won the individual crown after carding a tournament total of 220.
The three-day event was held at the par 72, 6,266-yard University Club.
Tulane returns to action on Sunday, April 7 at the 2019 Clemson Invitational in Clemson, South Carolina.
