Golf To Tee Off in Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Coming off a third place finish in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, the Tulane golf team is set to tee off in the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational at Lawrence Country Club.
The Lawrence Country Club has a par 72 and measures 6,125 yards and will host a field of 15 that includes; Arizona, Boston College, BYU, Iowa, Kansas, Kent State, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Notre Dame, Sam Houston State, UTSA, Washington State and Wisconsin.
The Green Wave will hit the fairway with the same lineup as last weekend with Carla Bernat, Sandra Vazquez, Matilde Innocenti, Miriam Emmert and Cleo Liu.
Tulane looks to sophomore Bernat to remain consent after taking the Ron Moore Intercollegiate individual title last weekend in Denver. Bernat shot 71-68-67 to finish 10-under, earning her a collegiate career low round and her first title.Â
