
Men’s Basketball Dominates Buffalo 88-63 in Holiday Hoopsgiving

ATLANTA – Led by a 21-point and eight assist performance by Jalen Cook, Tulane downed the Buffalo Bulls inside State Farm Arena on Saturday morning.
Jadan Coleman had a career high 19 points going 8-13 from the field. Jaylen Forbes nabbed 13 points and five rebounds, Tylan Pope scored 11 and Sion James dropped 11 points and had seven rebounds.
Tulane turned the ball over just five times compared to Buffalo's 16, earning 19 points off of turnovers. Tulane also totaled 16 assists and 11 steals on the day.
Leading the entire game, Tulane was able to silence the Bulls early with lock down defense and a 16-0 run in the first quarter to lead 33-17 with 5:45 left in the half. Forbes would seal the half with a four-point play after getting fouled on a three-point jumper. Giving the Green Wave a 46-29 lead heading into the locker room.
Holding the lead in the second the team was able to get up by as much as 30 just four minutes into the half, thanks to a two-handed slam by Pope. The largest margin would come at the 3:20 mark when freshman Percy Daniels earned his first points in the Olive and Blue with a layup to put the Wave up 86-50.
Subbing in the bench, Tulane would go on to win 88-63.
